Sound design and audio post-production are crucial elements in the filmmaking process that focus on creating and enhancing the auditory aspects of a film or video project. They play a significant role in shaping the overall viewer experience by adding depth, emotion, and realism to the visuals.

Sound design is the process of creating and manipulating sound elements to enhance the storytelling and aesthetics of a film. It involves designing and selecting sounds such as dialogue, music, sound effects, Foley recordings and ambient noise to convey the intended mood, atmosphere, and narrative of the film.

Audio post-production encompasses all the work that happens with the audio elements of a film after shooting has wrapped. It involves various stages, including dialogue editing, sound effects editing, Foley, ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement), music composition, mixing, and mastering.
