Zeller – Sonic Identity for Handheld Device
Zeller wanted their handheld payment device to feel more engaging and memorable by introducing sound into the user experience. They were inspired by how smartphones use audio cues—like powering up, shutting down, or connecting to a charger—to create a sense of personality and polish. Initially, they referenced an existing sound they liked, but their goal was to develop something more unique that could reflect Zeller’s brand.
I designed and produced a complete sonic identity for the device. This included creating original sounds for powering on, powering off, and connecting to a power source, as well as the full suite of UI interactions. Each sound was carefully crafted to be functional, distinctive, and consistent with Zeller’s brand voice.
The result was a set of sonic assets that made the device feel instantly recognisable and more human. By transforming a functional need into a branded experience, Zeller’s handheld product now has an audio signature that strengthens user connection and reinforces their identity every time it’s used.
London Business School – Sonic Branding for Podcasts & Logo Animations
London Business School wanted to enhance their brand identity through sound. They needed distinctive audio stings for two of their flagship podcasts The Why Podcast? and Forever Forward, as well as sonic branding for their animated logo. The aim was to create memorable, high-quality audio that tied these assets together sonically and reflected the school’s global reputation.
I composed and produced a suite of instrumental stings and logo sounds that balanced sophistication with accessibility. The music was crafted to reflect LBS’s sense of grandeur and iconic status, while also incorporating an unresolved, open-ended quality to mirror their brand values of inquiry, questioning, and forward-thinking. This involved full end-to-end production: sound design, composition, bespoke effects, mixing, mastering, and delivery of final mastered outputs and stems.
The finished sonic assets gave LBS a clear and unified audio identity across their podcasts and logo animations. By combining musical grandeur with unresolved tension, the sonic identity captured both the authority and the curiosity at the heart of London Business School.
The Cook & Boardman Group – Sonic Branding for Video & Digital Content
The Cook & Boardman Group, a nationwide provider of integrated access control and security solutions, wanted to modernize the sonic expression of their brand. Operating in a traditionally old-school industry, they needed an audio identity that conveyed trust, confidence, innovation, and momentum while staying grounded and professional. The goal was to create a short but distinctive sonic branding asset—usable across videos, events, podcasts, and digital content—that would instantly make their brand recognisable.
I designed and produced a 15 second audio ident that balanced modernity with reliability. The sound was composed to be crisp and professional, evoking a sense of progress and innovation while still being approachable to their core audience.
The finished sonic identity gave Cook & Boardman a cohesive, modern audio signature that elevated their brand presence across all media. The new sound instantly communicates professionalism and reliability while reinforcing their positioning as an innovator in access control and security. By distilling their values into a simple, memorable sonic mark, Cook & Boardman gained a flexible asset that will strengthen recognition and consistency across every brand touchpoint.
Abdulla Murad – Sonic Branding for Personal Brand Identity
Abdulla Murad needed a sonic identity for his leadership, coaching, and training brand—one that would reflect his values of questioning, continuous learning, desire to grow, and inspiring others. He wanted something simple yet meaningful, that wouldn’t overwhelm, but would linger in memory and align with the introspective, growth-oriented character of his work.
I created a minimalist sonic branding using only two piano chords—G major/B, and A major. The chord choices were intentional: they give a sense of unresolved tension and openness, which mirrors Abdulla’s brief of questioning, searching, and the desire to learn. A short burst of subsonic energy on the first note was included to symbolise the impact Abdulla has on peoples growth. The simplicity allows space for reflection, while the harmonic shift between the chords gives a subtle pull—evoking growth, curiosity, and forward momentum.
The final sonic asset is a subtle, elegant motif that plays well as a identity sting. It conveys introspection and aspiration rather than finality—just what was needed for Abdulla’s brand. The result is an audio identity that feels both grounded and aspirational, helping set the tone for his coaching, training, and leadership content in a way that resonates with his audience.
Transformation 360 – Sonic Branding for Logo Identity
Transformation 360, an innovative management platform born from a United Nations collaboration, wanted a unique sonic identity for their logo. Designed for use across marketing, presentations, and live events, the sound needed to reflect the brand’s mission: redefining sustainable development with a focus on responsibility, innovation, and global impact. To make the asset even more distinctive, they asked for a hidden layer of meaning—the inclusion of a Morse code pattern spelling out “360.”
I created a sonic logo that was both modern and symbolic. The foundation of the sound design was tailored to capture Transformation 360’s values of progress and innovation, while the embedded Morse code gave the piece a subtle but powerful storytelling dimension. This approach ensured the audio identity was not only polished and memorable, but also deeply tied to the brand’s name and purpose.
The final sonic identity gave Transformation 360 a signature audio mark that could be deployed seamlessly across media and events. By blending brand-aligned sound design with the hidden “360” Morse motif, the logo became instantly recognizable while also carrying an extra layer of meaning. The result is a sound that resonates with audiences, reinforces the brand’s innovative ethos, and underscores its commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking solutions.
Geeky Medics – Sonic Branding with Gamer DNA
Geeky Medics—a platform run by clinicians, for clinicians—wanted their logo’s audio identity to reflect one of their shared passions: gaming. The brief was to create a sonic brand that felt fun, nostalgic, and rooted in the vibe of classic games. They asked for something that would resonate with their team’s love of gaming, yet also feel professional enough to represent their educational and clinical credibility.
I designed and composed a logo theme that leaned into Atari- and 8-bit game audio aesthetics. Using chiptune style textures, simple melodic hooks, and characteristic retro sound-design elements, I gave their brand signature a playful edge, while maintaining clarity and polish. The audio was engineered to sound distinct on its own, but also cohesive when used with the visual logo across digital content, tutorials, presentations, etc.
The final sonic branding for Geeky Medics delivers a burst of nostalgia and fun with every use—instantly recognizable by anyone who remembers early game consoles. It brings energy and personality to their content, reinforcing their identity as knowledgeable, yet approachable, clinicians who also love gaming. The result is a memorable audio logo that stands out in their space and strengthens emotional connection with their audience.
